Courtney & Kenny's Royal Park Hotel Wedding

I'm beyond excited to share this feature of high school sweethearts Courtney and Kenny's elegant blush and gold Royal Park Hotel wedding. These two are truly a match made in heaven and they have been nothing short of a joy to work with from day one when we first connected over email. We had an awesome Armada engagement session last fall after the two got engaged in Norway (where Kenny's family is from) and I just knew these guys were going to be so much fun to photograph on their special day as well. Their love is so apparent to anyone who is around them. Even in planning this post, Kenny and I chatted and we planned it so I would share this when Courtney can see it with him instead of when she's working her night shift as a nurse. He's always thinking of her! Kenny and Courtney were wed in a chic and bright ceremony in the Conservatory at the Royal Park Hotel in Rochester and had a darling romantic reception afterwards in the Grand Ballroom. I always love the sweet little out of the ordinary details and here are some of them: Courtney's bouquet had 3 pieces of fabric attached to it from the wedding dresses of her mother, grandmother and great-grandmother in addition to a special pin from Kenny's grandmother, the his and her wedding bands had Ephesians 5:23 and Ephesians 5:24 engraved on them and were carried down the aisle in a wood box that Kenny made, the dance floor had gorgeous butterfly decorations hanging over guests for a dreamy atmosphere, and Kenny and Courtney planned a surprise choreographed bridal party dance to get the group dancing started off right (they jammed to "Uptown Funk"), to name a few! It was so fun to watch and capture! See below the photos for full credits to the fabulous vendor team! Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Dalen! xoxo Venue and dessert table: Royal Park Hotel | Photography: Kate Saler Photography | Event Planning and Design: Thistle Design Group | Videography: Double Image Videography | Bride's gown: Arena Bridal | Bride's jewelry: Lucido Fine Jewelry | Bride's makeup: Hope Lang | Bride's hair: Megan from Aveda Salon | Bridesmaids' makeup: Christina Buffa from Glitz Salon | Bridesmaids' hair: Megan from Aveda Salon & Brittany McKissick from Salon Domani | Tuxes: Macy's | Flowers: Designs by Ella Rae | Cake: Sweet and Savory Bakery | Lighting, draping and dance floor: Colonial Events | Invitations: Festivities Studio Birmingham | Ceremony song special: Pastor Al Reese | Ring box: Handmade by the groom
