The Williams Maternity Session- Waiting on Josie

I am so excited to share favorites from my maternity session with my sweet, super good-lookin' and fun friends, Shira and Ryan! I was soooo elated for Shira when she told me they were expecting, then extra excited when she said it would be a baby girl! I told Shira she was just too gorgeous not to have some photos while pregnant and positively glowing! I can't wait to share some pictures of sweet baby Josie soon. Congratulations on your baby girl, Ryan and Shira! XOXO

Alex & Brad's Mini Cranbrook Engagement Session

I got to meet up with Alex, Brad and my amazing friend, Esme of Esme McClear Photography to photograph a mini engagement session at Cranbrook recently. Brad actually attended Cranbrook, so he knew his way around the campus quite well! These cuties had a relaxed and natural chemistry that was a blast to photograph. I look forward to capturing their wedding day in 2 short months! Congratulations, Alex and Brad!

Mandy & Mike's Fall DIY Walled Lake Wedding

Mandy & Mike. Oh, where do I begin? These sweethearts don't have your typical love story. The pair met at church and have been friends for years. Mike actually prayed for Mandy to become his for 3 years before she finally said "I do" on the property of their Walled Lake church, Lakes Baptist! It's no surprise to those who know Mandy that Mike would wait so long for her. Mandy is an amazing, authentic and beautiful person. When I first met her, I felt like we had been friends for years. I got excited with Mandy as she described how they really desired a wedding that primarily honored Christ, not themselves. I knew this was a wedding that I REALLY wanted to be a part of. The pair can be seen below using the "cord of three strands" illustration during their ceremony to symbolize a marriage based on God! Mandy also spoke so highly of so many friends of theirs who would be involved in all of the set up and decoration process, not to mention their bridal party who would be busy whipping up scrumptious breakfast food for several hundred guests. The bridal party sported aprons custom embroidered by matron of honor Aleah's mom, Dawn! I was blown away by the love Mike and Mandy share and by the happiness that surrounded them! Every last detail of this day was sweet and I am so so glad I was a part of it. Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Zielinski! I can't wait to see what God does in and through you as you embark on your life together!
