Greg & Shaina's Wellers Carriage House Wedding

Last weekend, I photographed SUCH a sweet spring wedding for a beautiful couple, Shaina and Greg, at Saline's gorgeous Wellers Carriage House! You may remember these two from their University of Michigan engagement session. Rain was predicted on the wedding day, but God answered all of our prayers and sure enough, all the photos were without rain! My eyes, however, definitely weren't dry when I saw Shaina smiling and slowly walking down the long row of trees during the beautiful ceremony, escorted by her Marine brother. The icing on the cake was definitely Greg's face trying to hold the tears in. What a joy it was to share in such a special and beautiful day. I hope you will enjoy some favorites! Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Honderich! xoxo

Anna & Ryan's Grand Rapids Engagement Session

I had the exciting opportunity very recently to photograph my beautiful college roommate and fellow GVSU graduate, Anna and her fiancé, Ryan at a few of their favorite spots in downtown Grand Rapids. We had so much fun! I just had to share a few favorites and I plan to share some more. Congratulations, Anna and Ryan and I'm so looking forward to capturing your wedding day in August! :) xoxo

Tommy's 1st Year and Family Portrait

This happy little family from my church is such a joy! I loved hanging out with them last week at Gunnar Mettala Park in Wixom for some 1 year portraits of their adorable son, Tommy, as well as some family photos. Tommy was so funny, especially when Jeremy was throwing him in the air, pushing him on the swing, rolling him in the wagon, or giving him a ride on his shoulders! Enjoy some favorites! :)

Elliot's Simpsons Themed Crofoot Bar Mitzvah

Elliot's "Bart" Simpson themed bar mitzvah was so fun! We did Elliot's candid session in downtown Birmingham, while Homer Simpson (aka Elliot's father Jeff) photobombed Elliot! We were cracking up with Elliot and his beautiful mom, Marla, most of the shoot but Elliot was great at keeping a straight face. His bar mitzvah service was at Temple Israel Friday and the big party was at the unique and industrial Crofoot in Pontiac the following evening. The room was decked out with floral arrangements by my absolute favorite, Parsonage Events, linens by Fabulous Events, and an amazing logo, incredible hanging decor and signage by Designs by Debbie LeClaire. Elliot and all of his friends enjoyed an AWESOME evening of entertainment and dancing courtesy of the always fabulous Startrax (their emcee was Freddie!). The night was not complete until guests had devoured my personal favorite big event treat, ice cream cookie sandwiches from Eskimo Jack's. Mazel tov, Elliot! a>
