I am soooo excited to share photos from this gorgeous, classic and elegant wedding I got to photograph on Friday at the always spectacular Oakhurst Golf and Country Club in Clarkston. Laura and Dustin, who you may remember from their Cranbrook engagement session last winter, had a perfect summer day for their outdoor nuptuals which took place against a dreamy woodsy backdrop. Their colors were gray and yellow and the bridesmaids rocked Infinity dresses (aka the same dress that is one-size-fits-all and can be twisted into many different styles- amazing, right?). Former model Laura was beyond radiant in her lacy, romantic and open-backed gown. I mean, WHAT a vision she was and is! Dustin and Laura's big day was such a pleasure to capture and was oh-so-dreamy!! I hope you'll savor some of my favorites! Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Cloutier! xoxo

These darlings met at Central Michigan University where they bonded (and later fell in love) while studying for a class together. I first met them in 2012 at Suzi and Justin's Oakhurst Golf & Country Club wedding and then got to see Marley later in 2013 when she did makeup at Jasmin and James' Addison Oaks wedding. I remembered how much fun these two were, so I was extra excited when Marley checked dates with me before booking her venue! Marley and Chris had me laughing throughout the whole relaxed and fun session. We visited the venue where they will be getting married next May, Frutig Farms The Valley. It was so gorgeous! What a fun spot to take photos. Please enjoy a few of my absolute favorites from Chris and Marley's engagement session! Congratulations on your engagement, you two, and I'm excited for 5/7/16! xoxoxo

You may remember these two from their mini Birmingham engagement session last winter. Greg and Traci were wed a little over a week ago surrounded by their closest family and friends in the courtyard at the gorgeous, unique and historic Inn on Ferry Street in Detroit. I loved photographing these guys here! Traci is a very talented graphic designer and her invite was the coolest I've photographed to date! This wedding had tons of cute lil details. Traci's dad used to work at the Detroit Institute of Arts, so it was only fitting that we walked over and got photos there. I hope you'll enjoy some favorites. Congratulations, Greg and Traci!

These sweethearts share a romance so strong that it could not be held back by the fact that they originate from different countries (James is English)! Becky and James, who you may remember from their Shiawassee Park family photos, had a small wedding 4 years ago but had the chance this year to have a vow renewal and the reception of their dreams at the always fabulous Waldenwoods! I loved photographing these too and working with them during the whole process (starting with their session with their fur-baby, Riley!). Becky is so so sweet and chill and we just clicked perfectly. James flipped when he saw how stunning Becky looked in her gown! It was the cutest thing ever. And man, was that dancefloor packed! James' family members were busting moves all night which added an extra fun energy to the dancing, DJed by the talented Dan Nichols. Congratulations on 4 years, James and Becky, and here's to many many more! xoxo
