These sweethearts share a romance so strong that it could not be held back by the fact that they originate from different countries (James is English)! Becky and James had a small wedding 4 years ago but had the chance recently to have a vow renewal and the reception of their dreams at the always fabulous Waldenwoods! I loved photographing these too and working with them during the whole process (starting with their session with their fur-baby, Riley!). Becky is so so sweet and chill and we just clicked perfectly. James flipped when he saw how stunning Becky looked in her gown! It was the cutest thing ever. I hope you enjoy some favorites from their special day!

If this lil family looks familiar, it's because they're my sweet friends and repeat clients! I just love LaShonda, James and their son, Tré! To do the second installment of their 1st Year package, we returned to Cranbrook, the location where I first photographed this cute couple at their engagement session. It's such a pleasure to watch this family grow. Enjoy several favorites of this precious trio. Love you guys! :)
Yay! If you saw my previous post, you know I'm excited to share this one! Becca and Rob's Florida wedding was AMAZING, full of rich culture and laughter, and so much fun to capture! Rainstorms were predicted for the day all week so we were all hoping and praying for good weather and we got it! The weather was perfect until the last half an hour we were at the wedding and even then, the event took a whole new fun turn. The zesty Cuban band, Vista Alegre Club, went wireless and came into the tent with just their instruments. As the lighting flashed over the river, the warm breeze blew the palm trees, and people danced and laughed in the rain and to the music, I knew this was a wedding I would always remember. Another highlight was when Rob and Becca cut their delicious cake and Becca immediately gave Esme and then myself a bite. It was amazing! What a sweetheart to share her moment with us and we both agreed it was a highlight of our wedding photography careers. I'll be sharing more but enjoy some favorites from this gorgeous day! Congratulations, Becca and Rob! xoxo :) Dress: Jenny Packham Hair by Stephanie Baigorri Makeup by Priscilla Rego – Prisbeauty Band: Vista Alegre Club Event Logistics- Charlotte Ferrante @ Decoratifs Cake- Nothing Bundt Cakes
I recently had the amazing opportunity to fly down to Florida with my friend, Esme McClear, for a wonderful adventure: photographing Becca and Rob for both some pre-wedding sessions and their gorgeous wedding. The experience of working with them and just being in that beautiful place was like a dream. The pair, who met while doing their residencies in Becca's native Detroit, were so incredibly in love, warm and down to earth and they didn't hesitate for one second to make us feel right at home with them, their friends and their family. We did their engagement session in two parts, the first at the dreamy spot Becca had picked out, Waldo's Secret Garden in Vero Beach, and the second back at their beach in Indialantic. While photographing, I just kept thinking, "Pinch me!". I hope you love checking out some favorites from the engagement session and I look forward to sharing wedding photos soon! I can't say enough good things about Becca and Rob and this experience! Venue: Waldo's Secret Garden Makeup: Crystal Wiesehan

Resident physicians Aaron and Denise currently live in different states due to their residencies, so we only had one day where we could all do their engagement session (I had the pleasure of partnering with my amazing friend Esme McClear on this shoot!). Since it was freezing, we ended up at the Detroit Public Library, which was so fitting for this super smart couple! Check out Denise's STUNNING sapphire ring!! It's so very pretty. Enjoy my favorites from Aaron and Denise's cute and classy little session. Looking forward to your June Plum Hollow wedding, you two! :)

I just had to jump on here and share some favorites from Alexandra and Brad's STUNNING spring wedding on Saturday at the always gorgeous Waldenwoods. The pair had their ceremony at Howell's All Saints Chapel then guests headed back to Waldenwoods for a fabulous reception dripping with luscious details from Parsonage Events! As a very blessed regular at this venue, I was thrilled to see an exciting change: farm tables from A Touch of Whimsy Events, run by my friend and gorgeous 2013 bride, Kaylin! They meshed perfectly with the decor and feel of Waldenwoods. Everything about Alexandra and Brad's day was just stunning and Alexandra made the loveliest bride. I plan to share more of the beauty! Congratulations, you two!
