I'm so excited to share Adam & Maureen's engagement session favorites! These two met as teens when they both lifeguarded on Middle Straits Lake. Since they're so active and they wanted to return to the place they met and grew up together, it was totally appropriate to go to the beach and nearby paths in their West Acres neighborhood, known for its tight-knit community. We even stopped by a field that had the old lifeguard stand that they used to lifeguard on! The pair loves to bike so we got some fun shots of that and also some romantic canoe ones. I just love their obvious chemistry! We wrapped up the session with a dazzling sunset (they even got in the lake!). It was such a fun night! I'm excited for Adam & Maureen's Bay Pointe Golf Club wedding next summer! Congratulations on your engagement, you two! xoxo
I had a great time photographing the very dapper Trent in downtown Milford recently. He was so nice and smiled easily, which can be rare for guys getting their senior pictures done! This class of 2017 senior will be graduating from Lakeland High School next year. Congratulations, Trent, and best wishes for the next stage of your life!

I'm thrilled to share this feature of Chris & Marley's beautiful Frutig Farms wedding at The Valley. You may remember them from their lighthearted Frutig Farms engagement session last summer. I consider myself very blessed to have a bride as sweet and laidback as Marley and I knew Chris and Marley's wedding day was going to be special! It was full of so many pretty little details like the birch arbor they were married under in their outdoor ceremony, their gorgeous DIY flowers, or the vintage furniture the guests lounged in. Marley was stunning in her dress and perfect little belt and I loved the bridesmaids' blush gowns and the snazzy khaki and blue that the groomsmen wore! Rain was predicted but our prayers were answered and it held off! We had the perfect day for photos. The rustic celebration was full of happy tears and lots of laughter, like how the pair got into a giggle fit during their ceremony or how Marley and her father burst into simultaneous tears upon seeing each other before he walked her down the aisle. Chris and Marley are simply too cute. Thanks for asking me to capture this super special time in your lives, you guys. Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Griffin! xoxo You may remember my gorgeous 2012 bride, Suzi, who is family of the bride through her hubby, Justin! If you look closely at her wedding post, you'll spot Marley!!
