Detroit Yacht Club Engagement Session

My friend Leanne is engaged to her love, Brian! The two tie the knot at Waldenwoods in February. I am just so excited! We planned their engagement session at the Detroit Yacht Club because the two wanted something on the water, but then unexpected rain majorly delayed the session. We went to the Illuminated Mural where it was not raining much and almost rescheduled, but we are so glad we didn't! The rain stopped and we got the most glorious sunset for a mini sunset session! I was so thrilled and I know they were too. Congratulations, you two! Can't wait to capture your big day. xxoo

Julia & Ben's Detroit Yacht Club Wedding

I'm thrilled to share Ben & Julia's Detroit Yacht Club wedding feature with you this evening! You may remember them from their Plymouth engagement session which we did while they were in town from Philly. Julia was beyond radiant with her half back romantic hair, finger tip veil, and gloriously lacy and sparkly gown. Ben cleaned up very nicely in his navy tux with black trim! We had a gorgeous day at the very "old Detroit" and super classy DYC. Man, I just love shooting there! Ben and Julia were so laidback and sweet which made the day even better.
