Weller's Carriage House Saline Wedding- Cate & Chris

Happy almost Friday, everyone! I’m excited to share Chris and Cate’s wedding feature with you tonight. You may recognize them from their downtown Northville engagement session with their massive Native American Indian Dog, Ayres (see it here)! I was so happy when Cate emailed me about photographing her wedding because I was lucky enough to do her hilarious adorable sister Chelsey’s wedding a couple of years ago (see it here!). I just love this family and it was a true honor to work with them again. Cate and Chris had such a fun wedding and it was a simply gorgeous September day. In her own words, Cate describes the feel they were going for with their wedding as “structured yet cozy, with quirky personal touches (ie; think all green/white/black/gold Kate Spade with dino table numbers, cornhole guestbook, and a MI-made bloody mary bar!”. So fun! These two really did make their wedding extra unique. Another example is how they did “unity glass” instead of sand. They did it using custom ordered glass crystals and they are having them made into a beautiful vase heirloom and blown glass ornament keepsake for their parents. I absolutely loved Cate’s “Greek goddess” look with her hair and romantic Astrid & Mercedes gown. It was so delicate and different. Wasn’t she just radiant? When thinking back on planning her wedding, Cate said she couldn’t have done it without her Erin Condren Wedding Planner. She even found the business that did her multi-flavored cakes, which sat at each guest’s table, on Facebook through the Michigan Wedding Group. Congratulations, Chris and Cate! I hope you enjoy my favorites from the big day! xo Venue: Weller’s Carriage House | Photographer: Kate Saler Photography | Hair: Theresa with Salon Unity | Makeup: Freelance makeup artist Julie Geeter | Bride's Dress: Astrid & Mercedes "Enchanting” from The Gown Shop Ann Arbor | Bridesmaid's Dresses: David's Bridal | Groom's Attire: Men's Warehouse | Cakes: Lynette's Cakes | Flowers: Happiness Is the Little Flower Shop | CONTACT KATE SALER PHOTOGRAPHY HERE
