Erica and Tom's Port Huron Wedding

What a weekend! I had a blast photographing Tom and Erica's wedding out in Port Huron at Black River Country Club and then their reception at Alexander's on Saturday. You may remember these cuties from their colorful downtown Rochester engagement session last fall. My super chill bride Erica was radiant in her delicate and lacy gown with her hair in a romantic side-swept 'do. Tom's face when he saw her was absolutely priceless and Erica's face as she and her father danced to "Butterfly Kisses" made me cry (okay, if you know me, this isn't that unusual, but I cried much more than usual!!)! The weather was perfect for their outdoor nuptials and for the photos we did by the impressive Blue Water Bridge! Perhaps one of the more significant moments I've had the chance to photograph at a wedding reception came when Erica and Tom ask me to re-enact a photo Tom's father (who passed away) and mother had taken with a Model A many years ago when they were married. Tom's parents met when his grandfather sold the car to a man who would end up marrying his daughter. The car was eventually sold but made it back into the family a few years ago when Tom's cousin bought it! What a cool story! I hope you'll enjoy a few favorites from the big day. Stay tuned for more! Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. LeVey! XO
