Whitney & Dustin's Detroit Engagement Session

I'm thrilled to share Whitney and Dustin's super sweet Detroit engagement session with you tonight. The pair, who knew each other in high school and fell in love a few years later, wanted to check out a favorite Louise Chen mural in addition to the Illuminated Mural and Belle Isle. We had a very windy day which made photos tricky, but we were patient and stuck with it. I'm amazed at how sweet Whitney is and I know she will be super fun to work with (not to mention GORGEOUS) on their wedding day in October at Pine Knob Mansion. Can't wait! Ben & Julia's Plymouth Engagement Session

I photographed Ben and Julia recently at a park in Plymouth on a very chilly morning. They were troopers, though, and we had a great mini engagement session! I'm so glad we could fit the session in while they were in town from Philadelphia. I can't wait for Ben & Julia's wedding at the Detroit Yacht Club in June! Eric & Meghan's Ann Arbor Engagement Session

I truly loved photographing sweethearts Eric and Meghan on a beautiful afternoon at Nichols Arboretum in Ann Arbor, a spot these two love to frequent. The pair met when Meghan began to work at Eric's parents' restaurant and they've been together ever since. Even though Eric wasn't crazy about photos (what guy is, really??), I loved hanging out with them and I think he did well! :) He also did very well with Meghan's pear-style diamond engagement ring (which I ADORED!!). It's always so nice to get away from my computer for a few hours and go out on shoots! Sara and Erik's Engagement Session

These two may be young, but they're very much in love. Erik and Sara were super easy going as we braved the chilling breeze to walk around Cranbrook on Sunday. They drove almost 5 hours from Indiana to get their engagement photos done. I look forward to photographing their wedding in Indiana this December!
