I'm so excited to share this cute lil engagement session with you this Tuesday evening. I met Cate and Chris a few years ago at Cate's sister Chelsey's wedding (you may remember their engagement session and wedding), so it was a huge honor when Cate reached out to me for her own big day! She and Chris have such a cute and natural chemistry together and it's so clear that they are perfect for each other. Their GIANT fluffy Native American Indian Dog, Ayres, only made the session better for me as a dog lover, but also for entertainment. Ayres had instant fans everywhere we went in downtown Northville! People literally spent several minutes petting him and getting photos with him! Thank goodness Chelsey came along to handle him and all his celebrity-ness while we took photos!! I couldn't be happier for Cate & Chris and I'm so excited for their September wedding at Weller's Carriage House! Congratulations, you two! xo
I'm so excited to share Adam & Maureen's engagement session favorites! These two met as teens when they both lifeguarded on Middle Straits Lake. Since they're so active and they wanted to return to the place they met and grew up together, it was totally appropriate to go to the beach and nearby paths in their West Acres neighborhood, known for its tight-knit community. We even stopped by a field that had the old lifeguard stand that they used to lifeguard on! The pair loves to bike so we got some fun shots of that and also some romantic canoe ones. I just love their obvious chemistry! We wrapped up the session with a dazzling sunset (they even got in the lake!). It was such a fun night! I'm excited for Adam & Maureen's Bay Pointe Golf Club wedding next summer! Congratulations on your engagement, you two! xoxo
