Happy New Year! {and my 200th post!}
I've loved photographing so many love stories this year. God has truly blessed my business. I am so excited to share these two collages with one from each wedding and engagement session as a quick glance at many of my shoots from 2014. I'm thrilled with the growth I have experienced and the amazing people I have met. I'm truly looking forward to 2015. Happy New Year! :)

Chelsea & Greg's Just Married Session
Chelsea has been my closest friend since we met in 8th grade! She is this amazing, chill, hilarious, clever, wonderful, thoughtful, and generous (I could go on and on) person who I love very very much and she's the only person I'd be blogging for on Christmas Eve! She is the best listener ever and is a total inspiration. Chelsea has courageously overcome so many obstacles with a recent disability and has not only been pulling through, but she has just completed law school! I'm sorry, what was my excuse for anything ever? She's amazing! I cannot say enough good things about my darling friend and as my eyes tear up with pride, I think of her infectious laugh, her beautiful smile and her sweet green eyes, not to mention hundreds of times of laughing together until we cried. I am so thrilled that she met Greg last year and that the two are so happy together. I love most that they can just laugh together and truly be themselves. They make such a great pair. Greg and Chels shared a private ceremony in August and they later asked me to take photos of them in celebration. I am so happy to share these photos of my sweet bestie, Chelsea and her husband, Greg. Love you guys, looking forward to the official party, and CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Merry Christmas! :)

Kelly & Matt's Terrace Inn Petoskey Wedding
I've had so much fun working with Kelly and Matt! It started with energetic emails back and forth with Kelly that felt more like I was communicating with a friend than a new client and then I got to photograph their light-hearted vintage-inspired engagement session in downtown Fenton. It was the icing on the cake for me to head up to Petoskey to photograph Matt & Kelly's darling and intimate fall wedding at the historic Terrace Inn and 1911 Restaurant! I loved watching their day unfold. It was all about family and the vibe was just so warm, emotional and kind. It was a pleasure to be a part of! When Matt exchanged vows with Kelly's children, Juliet and Jack, I don't think there was a dry eye in the crowd, including mine. There's no doubt about it: Matt and Kelly were made for each other. Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Monroe!
