Francesca and Mark's Belle Isle Engagement Session
Well, hello there. It's been awhile since I've had the chance to breathe and blog a little bit, so please forgive the lack of posts! It's been a crazy busy 2018 for me professionally and personally! This evening, I'm so stoked to share Francesca and Mark's Belle Isle engagement session with you. These two could not have been easier to photograph! They were constantly smiling and being cute with lots of giggles. That made my job extra easy! Last summer, I photographed a wedding Francesca was in and as soon as we met one on one, I knew I liked her and that we would work well together. The beautiful Francesca is a landscape architect, so the Belle Isle Conservancy was the perfect spot to start with. Isn't her East-West engagement ring cool? It was the first one I've ever seen like that. I hope you enjoy many of my favorites from this sweet and happy session! Congratulations on your engagement, Mark and Francesca! I'm so excited for your June wedding! xoxo

Zach and Meredith's Detroit Anniversary Session
Hello! I know it's been a bit since I've posted. Life and things at KSP have been so busy lately! I have my own love story going on, my sister is getting married next month, I just returned from Ireland, and the list goes on and on! I wanted to jump on here and share a sweet anniversary session I did for one of my cutest and most obviously in love couples, Meredith and Zach. You may remember them from their relaxed engagement session and Waldenwoods wedding. We had a blast at Detroit's super cute Z Lot and then at Belle Isle. The way these two look at each other just brings a smile to my face. Congratulations on your first year of marriage, Mer & Zach. May you have many many more! xo

Brian and Leanne's Winter Waldenwoods Wedding
Happy Friday and long weekend, everyone! I hope you all enjoy whatever special plans you have over the next 3 days. I’m excited to share my friend Leanne’s wedding feature on the blog this evening. Leanne and her love, Brian, who you may remember from their sunset Detroit Yacht Club engagement session (see it again HERE!), tied the knot at St. William’s church then had a fabulous elegant wintery wedding reception at the always lovely Waldenwoods Cromaine Lodge (it’s always a pleasure to shoot there any time of year!). Some of my favorite parts of the day were really the simple things, like Leanne’s always smiling face and her gorgeous green eyes, or Brian’s little moments with his son, William. Or the way Leanne looked so adoringly at her dad. I love it and it made me softly cry for sure, which won’t be a surprise to those who know me. I’ve never seen Leanne so happy and glowy and Brian clearly brings out the best in her, just what anyone would want for their friend! Leanne and Brian were troopers for their VERY chilly outdoor portraits and thankfully Leanne had thought ahead and had a gorgeous bridal wrap. I’m so glad they were willing to go outside because their day had the perfect winter wonderland scenery! Guests danced the night away to the DJing of Kurt Lewis, a personal favorite fellow vendor of mine. Congratulations, Brian and Leanne! I wish you a lifetime of wedded happiness. I hope you enjoy the photos. xoxo
