Nathan & Vesna's Matthaei Botanical Garden Wedding
I'm pumped to share sneak peeks from Nathan and Vesna's beautiful Matthaei Botanical Gardens wedding last weekend. You'll probably remember these cuties from their recent mini engagement session outside of the gardens. As I said when I shared those photos, Vesna is SO lovely, funny, thoughtful, and friendly. At our first meeting, I truly felt like we were already friends (and of course, now we are)! Vesna was a breathtaking bride! It was a pleasure to watch her marry her Prince Charming and to see the joy in both of their eyes because they found their puzzle piece (something the sweethearts talk about often). Congratulations, you two! Enjoy some sneak peeks! xoxo

Savi: Fowlerville 1 Year & Family Portraits
I'm preeeeeeetty much squealing with excitement to share this session with you tonight!! I went to high school with Jacqui and ran into her at our reunion recently. Shortly after that, she contacted me about photographing her daughter. We set up a super relaxed, casual, and much more candid style family and 1 year session and oh, did it make my heart joyous. I just LOVED seeing Jacqui so so happy with her hubby and beautiful baby girl, who turned one on the 4th of July. Oh, and their two pups! Jacqui and Jake seriously smiled basically non-stop and are clearly so in love! It was wonderful watching them do some of their daily activities with Savi Jade, like feeding their chickens or tending to their beautiful garden. I adore this session and this lil family. I hope you enjoy it, too. Jacqui, thank you for asking me to photograph this special time in your lives! xoxo

Jane: A Beth El & Cranbrook Bat Mitzvah
I hope everyone had a relaxing 4th of July! I'm thrilled to share the feature post of Jane's pre-service photos and her "Jane of the Jungle" themed bat mitzvah party! The magical vision became reality thanks to Jane's beautiful mom, Karen, planner, Lauren from Leave it to Lauren, and of course the always fabulous Barb of Mandell Display. Star Trax entertainers Dennis and Teddy kept Jane and her friends dancing and having fun all night. I'm so thankful I got to be a part of such a gorgeous night. Enjoy the photos! xoxo
