Caleb & Sarah's Waldenwoods Wedding
I love Sarah and Caleb! They are the cutest! I got to photograph their gorgeous fall Waldenwoods wedding on Saturday and you may remember them from their Ann Arbor engagement session earlier this summer. The way these two look at each other just makes my heart melt and my job so much easier. Sarah was a total blast to work with and I just loved being around these two and their closest friends and family for the big day. Caleb and Sarah are big runners and Caleb always makes a heart with his hands behind his back when he runs in front of Sarah so she asked for a shot using that. How adorable! Sarah and Caleb chose Petals and Posies for their flowers and the colors were just beautiful. Sarah was a teeny tiny vision in her lace strapless dress, dazzling belt, and lace-tipped cathedral length veil. I adored it all, all the details, beauty and emotion of Caleb and Sarah's wedding day!! As if things couldn't get any better, the couple was blessed with a B R E A T H T A K I N G sunset over Lake Walden at the end of the night. What a gorgeous way to end the day. I hope you'll enjoy a few favorites and that you'll check back for more. Congratulations, Caleb & Sarah! I wish you a lifetime of love and happiness! xoxoxo

Dani & Joel's Detroit Engagement Session
I'm so excited to share Dani & Joel's bright and pretty mini Detroit engagement session today! This pair met in their residency and Joel proposed to Dani in New York at a beautiful botanical garden. Their chemistry is the sweetest thing, especially when Dani cracks up. She has the best laugh! I'm so excited to have the chance to photograph their Detroit Institute of Arts wedding next month with my dear friend and incredible photographer, Esme McClear. Looking forward to it! Congratulations on your engagement, Joel & Dani! xoxo

Caleb & Annie's Waldenwooods Wedding
Caleb and Annie got married on Saturday at the always beautiful Waldenwoods! You may remember them from their winter engagement session early this year. Man, this was a special one. Annie is an absolute DARLING and I loved working with her so much. She and Caleb are just head over heels for each other. Annie's face as she read Caleb's handwritten note right before the ceremony and Caleb's face when he saw his bride for the first time as the doors opened for her to come down the aisle really say it all. They were made for each other! Annie, who just beamed with happiness all day, was radiant in her unique two-toned illusion neckline BHLDN gown and side swept vintage-inspired hair. She also surrounded herself with the sweetest most helpful bridesmaids who were really a pleasure to be around all day! I also just loved seeing how close these two are to their families. It was a gorgeous day and truly a pleasure to be a part of. I hope you'll enjoy some highlights! Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Meador!! xoxo

Jayne & Aaron's Waldenwoods Wedding
I'm so excited to share these photos! Jayne is the sweetest bride and I knew we would work very well together shortly after meeting her. She and her sweetheart Aaron had a gorgeous fall engagement session at Spicer's Orchard and Cider Mill in Fenton and they were wed at the always scenic Waldenwoods on the Sunshine Lodge side! It sprinkled pretty much all day, but the beautiful Jayne didn't let that dampen her spirits. In fact, I saw her Facebook post the morning of the wedding: "The rain won't stop me from being overjoyed that I get to marry my dream come true today". What a great attitude! Her radiant smile just lit up the whole day and I'm not just saying that! She was just a joy to be around and you could see how much Aaron loves her by how he got misty-eyed during their first look and when she came down the aisle. I loved the sweet little details of the day, like how the wedding cake had a hilarious bride dragging away the mechanic groom topper, how each of the guys had super cool unique ties, the fact that Aaron and Jayne opted for a hilarious and fun dueling piano team instead of a DJ, or how Jayne's dress had a part of her grandmother's wedding dress sewn in underneath. That dress just so happened to be made from a WWII parachute! So cool! The cloudy sky broke into a gorgeous sunset right at the end and made for some wonderful moments! I just loved capturing this beautiful vintage romance themed wedding. See below for the vendor team! Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Randles! xxoo
