Denise & Aaron's Plum Hollow Country Club Wedding
Aaron and Denise, who you may remember from their Detroit Public Library engagement session, were wed just over a week ago at Plum Hollow Country Club surrounded by their closest family and friends. They had a beautiful outdoor ceremony that was rich with both Jewish and Persian traditions. I had the honor of partnering with amazing photographer Esme McClear for this wedding so the whole experience was extra good. I hope you enjoy some favorites of this smart and sweet pair! Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Kirsch! xoxo
The photo on the left represents good luck in the Persian culture!
The bride's mom was so cute when she danced!

Becca & Rob's Waldo's Garden Engagement Session
I've been dying to share these photos! I had the amazing opportunity to fly down to Florida with my friend and incredible photographer, Esme McClear, for a surreal adventure: photographing Becca and Rob for both some pre-wedding sessions and their gorgeous wedding!! The experience of working with them and just being in that beautiful place was like a dream. The brainy and athletic pair, who met while doing their residencies in Becca's native Detroit, were so incredibly in love, warm and down to earth and they didn't hesitate for one second to make us feel right at home with them, their friends and their family. We did their engagement session in two parts, the first at the dreamy spot Becca had picked out, Waldo's Secret Garden in Vero Beach (Becca had her dewy makeup done by Crystal Wiesehan), and the second back at their beach in Indialantic the next day at sunset. While photographing, I just kept thinking, "Pinch me!". I hope you love my favorites from the pre-wedding session and I look forward to sharing wedding photos soon! I can't say enough good things about Becca and Rob and this experience! xoxo

Ryan & Anna's Grand Rapids Engagement Session
It's not every day that I get to photograph a long time friend in one of my favorite cities and that's exactly what happened last month when I photographed my beautiful college roommate and fellow GVSU graduate, Anna and her fiancé, Ryan at a few of their favorite spots in downtown Grand Rapids. We had so much fun at the Brassworks building, a beautiful green bridge, and at the very spot on a bridge in AhNabAwen Park where Ryan proposed to Anna last August! We even saw another couple get engaged and we also were surprised at the end of the session by an adorable English Bulldog puppy named Hank who is a local celebrity! Congratulations, Anna and Ryan! Thank you for asking me to be a part of this wonderful time in your lives. I'm excited for your Watermark Country Club wedding day in August! :) xoxo
