Caleb & Annie's Waterford Engagement Session
Annie and Caleb were SO stinkin' cute, happy and in love at their wintery engagement session recently. Lakes are very significant to the pair, who have been together since the summer of 2009 after building a friendship for 3 years. Annie grew up on a lake and Caleb proposed to Annie on Williams Lake, so it made sense to head to one of the pair's favorite parks for their photos. Caleb suggested Drayton Plains Nature Center in Waterford and it was excellent for photos, though the lake was covered in snow! Caleb and Annie were a total pleasure to work with. Congratulations, you two! Looking forward to your September wedding at Waldenwoods!

Traci & Greg's Birmingham Engagement Session
Traci was the first bride I've ever met with who I actually felt like, from the first minute I met her, "Wow, are we actually already good friends? Feels like it!" It was crazy! She was SO hilarious and down to earth so I knew we would be a great fit. Michigan natives Greg and Traci met at Team Detroit and now live in Dallas so we had to squeeze in a mini morning engagement session while they were home. I absolutely loved working with these fun and hilarious cuties. Traci filled me in before the session that they don't take themselves too seriously and I loved that. I'm so excited for their July wedding at the Inn on Ferry Street in their beloved Detroit! Congratulations, you two!

Dustin & Laura's Cranbrook Engagement Session
Laura and Dustin were easy as could be to photograph. The adorable pair met in high school but didn't actually get to know each other until a few years later at a wedding of all places! ;) Their American Bulldog, Diego, is very important to them. So much so that he was a part of Dustin's surprise dinner proposal! It was only natural, then, that he be in a few photos. Congratulations on your engagement, Laura and Dustin! I'm so looking forward to your July wedding at the always stunning Oakhurst Golf & Country Club!
Katie & Brad's Inn at Saint John's Wedding
From the beginning, Katie and Brad have been SO easy and fun to work with. Katie has always been super kind and sweet to me and these two have a clear chemistry! We had a blast at their downtown Rochester engagement session and I knew their wedding would be awesome as well. I was blown away but their stunning reception at the beautiful Inn at Saint John's, which is where Brad proposed to Katie! Everything was so perfect and pretty! Katie was positively radiant in her Enzoani gown with a gorgeous down 'do (my favorite), lashes for days and lovely blooms from Velvet Touch Events. I loved everything about Katie and Brad's special day but my favorite parts were the emotional moments, like Katie's first look with her dad. Or her first look with Brad and how he immediately broke down in happy tears when he saw Katie and how he would start up again every time he pulled away and just drank her in. Or how Katie made a point to share a special dance with her beautiful mother. I feel so blessed to have been a part of this special time for you guys, Katie and Brad. Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Tibbetts!
